Disclaimer: This page is just suggestions for amps I believe are of
high quality and will provide a good sound when used with a Toby
Speaker Cabinet. |
We have NO CONTROL over the way that your amplifier has been set or
the way it was installed. Therefore, TobyCorp
offers No Guarantee that |
while using one of these amplifiers you will not have a problem with
burning up one of our drivers. Professional Installation and Setting
of your amp |
is Definitely recommended and may minimize problems. Any of these
amps may give you issues IF SET IMPROPERLY with the gain too high
or |
improperly set crossover points. |
| |
TobyCorp recommends Never using a "Bass Boost" function of an
amplifier, or the ever so popular "Bass Knob" which |
controls the boost setting. Our cabinets are engineered for optimal
clarity and volume without the use of this function. |
| |
Crossover point for our subs should be set to approx. 110Hz on the
"Low pass" setting. |
